By joining us as a Developer II, Database , you will hold a key position within Emerson IT. You will be responsible for designing, managing, maintaining, and developing SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Power Platform, and Oracle databases for Rosemount Customer Central (RCC) and North America Distribution (NAD).

In this capacity, you will ensure that the allocated tasks for RCC and NAD are delivered on time and with high quality. You will have significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with decision makers, sales engineers, business administrators, and other collaborators. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In this role, you will:

• Work closely with lean managers, senior programmers, and business admins or manufacturing team members in supporting data mining, business reporting, conversion, and testing of database/business intelligence tools used for data analysis and strategic planning.

• Collaborate with the technical team on refining scripts, processes, documentation, and process improvement.

• Participate in scheduled updates, project planning, and team meetings.

• Collaborate with other team members from various IT teams that support the continuous improvement of digital and automation solutions.

• Participate in the Intelligent Automations Community of Practice (CoP).

For this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related courses.

• 4 years of relevant work experience in the IT software development field.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, .NET, and SQL.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries and developing stored procedures.

• Advance understanding of BI reporting tools such as Excel, Access, Power BI, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and MS Teams.

• Understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools for successful execution of Waterfall, Agile, and/or hybrid methodologies
