This role is an opportunity to be a hands-on change agent as a member of the Inclusion, Diversity & Giving Center of Excellence. This position offers remote work but willingness to come to Falls Church, Virginia for occasional events. There will also be some events during the week and weekend activities requiring your participation.

Your primary focus will be: (1) supporting our nine Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with strategic growth, programs and events; (2) identifying and organizing GDIT’s applications for diversity, inclusion and culture-based industry awards; and (3) supporting and developing new programs and events, as assigned. This position plays a strong role in sustaining GDIT’s culture and contributing to the positive energy we strive for throughout the organization.

A successful Senior Analyst is:

  • Planning- and detail-oriented, organized and responsive; able to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight

  • Passionate about diversity & inclusion and believes in its power to make teams and organizations stronger

  • Focused on getting things done through trust-based relationships and collaboration

  • Comfortable engaging with employee volunteers to make our programs successful and building community

  • A compelling communicator: verbal, written and in building presentations—including to senior leadership

  • Self-aware and empathetic to connect with colleagues in an authentic way, especially when discussing sensitive topics

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Serving as primary point of contact for the ERGs and executive sponsors to provide guidance and support to advance their strategic plans and align to business imperatives

  • Helping define key performance indicators, metrics and reporting, with a goal of effectively tracking and measuring engagement, specific to ERGs

  • Leveraging data to make recommendations to D&I programs/initiatives, processes and procedures, and remove barriers as needed

  • Partnering with key stakeholders on D&I programming, i.e., engagement in ERG events, best practices for inclusive workplaces, award nominations, etc.

  • Support for development and execution of ERG-specific mentoring programs, to include measurable goals and outcomes.

  • Preparing monthly ERG Beat newsletter and related communications deliverables (internal and external)

  • Maintaining Inclusion & Diversity space on GDIT Connect (intranet) and GDIT.com

  • Researching Inclusion & Diversity industry awards, and supporting applications (Women in Technology, Military Friendly, Disability Equality Index, etc.)

  • Driving participation in select diversity recruiting events, including the Black Engineer of the Year Awards

  • Partnering with Sr. Analyst, GDIT Cares program to align ERG volunteer activities with broader giving and volunteerism programs

Baseline qualifications:

  • Nine (9) years related experience OR a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Sharepoint

  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in community organizing and/or volunteer management

  • Experience working as a member or leader of an Employee Resource Group or similar employee-led affinity group

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing Employee Resource Group strategies resulting in business impact

  • Facilitation experience to lead meetings and/or events, virtual and in person
