Job: Part- time Tour Guide Sightseeing Bus
Location: 111 North Broadway Street, Natchez In the Lobby of the Grand Hotel
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Tour Guide will read a script on tour bus. Guides must possess excellent speaking skills; and knowledge of Mississippi/Natchez history and antebellum homes.
Guides must have at least 2 years of experience in public speaking, customer service, or the hospitality industry. They should possess great communication skills, be very comfortable interacting with the public and be able to answer questions. In addition, they should have a friendly and professional demeanor; and, be trustworthy. Masks are optional.
Basic Computer Skills and Cash handling experience is required. Basic typing skills are needed to input sales orders; cash handling will include taking credit card, or cash payments.
The Tour Guide will assist the driver in cleaning the bus, getting it ready and presentable for passengers, 30 minutes prior to the start of their shift.
Tour Guide Hours:
Thursday - Sunday from 10:00 to 4:00.
Tour Guide Schedule: Thursday and Friday will lead tours.
Weekend: Every other Saturday and Sunday Guides will work the Concierge's Desk, in the lobby of the Grand Hotel, selling tickets for tours.
The job is part time, 13 to 21 hours per week; and the pay is $13 hour and tips are allowed. Drug testing is required.
