*Your Role:  *Coordinates the purchase of materials, parts, equipment, services, and supplies through material requisitions submitted by Department Leads or as needed based on Inventory Levels.

Approve invoices for payment. Identifies, analyzes, and/or develops procedures to improve purchasing processes, inventory levels, and inventory accuracy.

Responsible for effectively planning and scheduling all resources to conduct maintenance activities that result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity.

Develop job plans, define parts and materials, define skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe and effective work control plan.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete purchase request with suppliers by inputting Purchase Orders, expediting deliveries and verifying all transactions
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement related problems
  • Verifies materials, information, tools are available/staged prior to Maintenance Down.
  • Investigate large inventory variances and take necessary corrective action
  • Authorize payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation
  • Issues scheduled work orders with job plan packets.
  • Coordinates Scheduled Maintenance Down Planning Meetings.
  • Maintain stock at a level that enables internal servicing and maintenance departments to complete their work without delay and safely
  • Supervise Team Members directly involved with Spare Parts and ensure storeroom coordinator's duties are completed as requested
  • Maintains and communicates key performance indicators on the performance of the planning and scheduling functions providing timely reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets
  • Year End Physical Count processes
  • May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required Competencies

  • Understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
  • Demonstrate personal time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work by themselves with little to no supervisory oversight.
  • Can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and keep them progressing to Completion.

Required Education and Experience

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • 5+ years of related procurement experience including purchasing, inventory control, supplier relationships
  • Strong Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
