Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and supporting training and communications programs with engaging content, in partnership with subject matter experts across the organization. This includes partnering with the learning management team, creating content for role-specific onboarding using all learning modalities, continuing education, and assigned projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops program plans, goals and objectives in collaboration with program and area leadership.

  • Design and develop engaging and effective learning programs that align with operational goals and objectives

  • Collaborate and cultivate a consultative relationship with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze learning needs and develop instructional strategy (Operations Leaders, Facilitators, Project Managers, and other roles as needed)

  • Assist with communication development and graphic design requests

  • Utilize instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and best practices to create impactful learning experiences

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and performance gap analysis to identify learning objectives and desired outcomes

  • Incorporate cutting-edge instructional design technologies and digital tools to enhance the learning experience

  • Continuously evaluate and improve instructional materials and programs based on learner feedback, performance metrics, industry trends, and emerging technologies

  • Stay current with instructional design trends, eLearning technologies, and industry best practices

• Mentoring & Coaching (Intermediate): The essence of training and mentoring on the job is transfer of knowledge. Whereas training can be considered more formal and scheduled, mentoring is often in the form of guidance and "hands-on" experiences. The reporting relationship is unimportant since the purpose is to pass on information and experiences. These discussions normally center around a person's goal of learning job procedures, content, standards, analysis and problem-solving.

• Program Management (Advanced): Planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.

  • MICROSOFT OFFICE (Intermediate): Experience with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

  • TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS (Intermediate): A process of collecting information about a proposed learning program. A needs analysis addresses the following issues: restating the request, stating the business need, identifying the performance gap, conducting a task analysis, describing the learners, describing the learning environment, and identifying the project constraints.

  • ADULT LEARNING THEORY (Intermediate): Knowledge of the principles and practices of providing instruction to the adult learner. Able to focus adult learning goals andthe ability to direct their own learning.

  • LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (Intermediate): Experience with enrolling learners, reviewing transcripts, loading training sessions, and pulling reports

  • INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN (Intermediate):The systematic development of specifications using learning and instructional theory to ensure the quality of instruction.
