Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Hardware Asset Manager to join our dynamic team and drive excellence in hardware asset management across multiple locations. The Senior IT Hardware Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of IT hardware assets from procurement to disposal. This role requires extensive experience in managing hardware assets for a large enterprise with a proven track record of improving asset visibility and control. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of all hardware assets using Flexera and ServiceNow.

  • Enhance IT hardware asset visibility by implementing advanced tracking technologies and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain a centralized asset management database to provide real-time visibility into asset status, location, and usage.

  • Manage end-of-life hardware processes, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with environmental and data security regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of asset management professionals.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance asset management knowledge and skills within the organization.

  • Prepare and present reports on asset management performance and metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT hardware asset management for large enterprise organizations.

  • Knowledge of IBM Cognos Analytics and Flexera Reporting

  • Extensive experience in improving IT hardware asset visibility from procurement to disposal.

  • 5+ years of experience with Flexera or ServiceNow.

  • Strong knowledge of asset management tools and systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CHAMP) are a plus.
