Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Nashville, Tennessee, United States for a growing services company!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis

• Manage bank reconciliations to verify our financial records align with bank statements

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Prepare journal entries and post them to the appropriate accounts

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Conduct month-end close procedures efficiently and promptly

• Operate JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for various accounting functions.

Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant or a related role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding and experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Knowledge and experience in using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• CPA certification is a plus

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• High degree of professionalism and ethical standards.
