Position Summary

The Senior Treasury Analyst will play a key role in advancing our world-class global treasury risk management team for Bridgestone Americas and subsidiaries. They will be instrumental in supporting our FX and Commodity risk management strategies, among other responsibilities. The individual will monitor, assess, and report on currency and commodity markets. They will be a key member that supports and delivers macroeconomic data to the enterprise.

This role will be based in Nashville, TN @ Bridgestone Americas HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Support foreign exchange risk management strategies, including balance sheet and cash flow hedging programs by trading, performing data analysis, and completing monthly reporting

  • Support commodity risk management strategies that mitigate raw material price risk through trade execution and monthly reporting

  • Be a key business partner that actively seeks and uncovers operational and financial risks embedded in various business lines that could affect the profitability or be detrimental to business performance

  • Complete key performance indicator reports that detail foreign exchange and commodity exposures and market trends to Senior Management

  • Perform essential monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements

  • Support macroeconomic research to support businesses in developing appropriate strategies

  • Design and build risk monitoring frameworks, systems, and reporting dashboards that present risks and mitigation plans or alternatives

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures

  • Partner with control functions (Finance, Procurement, Tax, Legal) on reporting, processes, and regulatory matters

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with emphasis in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics.

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in corporate finance, treasury, or related areas

  • Experience with Bloomberg, FXAll, treasury management system, preferably Reval and/or, Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP), preferably SAP

  • Continuous improvement mindset – ability to document, analyze, make recommendations, and improve existing processes is a must

  • Ability to do data analysis in Microsoft Excel
