The Middle Mile Transportation Technology organization builds complex software solutions that work across our vendors, warehouses and carriers to optimize moving freight across our network to create a positive customer experience. Within Middle Mile, Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) is a new program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive training, ability to hire from their local communities, and long-term growth potential. The Amazon Freight Partner team is seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are quick learners and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

As the Senior Program Manager supporting the Customer Insights and Voice of the Customer team, you are a leader who can work independently on quantitative and qualitative projects with diverse internal stakeholders across the business. This person will be tasked to take customer insights gleaned from qualitative and qualitative mechanisms to develop action plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders, stand up mechanisms to track, prioritize, and communicate progress with AFP leadership and our transportation partners.

You will lead our intake process, identify and communicate potential project tradeoffs, collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, and create innovative ways to launch programs quickly. This position offers broad exposure to various business, product, and technical teams within Amazon and requires excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is well-organized, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is intellectually curious. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid business environment with shifting priorities. You can anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus partner needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
