Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Senior Business Analyst, you are a part of the Advanced Analytics team within the HR Group and is responsible for supporting the HR CEO and other executives in their understanding of HR program effectiveness. Primarily, you will track and explain performance against HCA’s strategic objectives by developing a deep understanding of HR operations across all of HCA.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing monitoring plans, impact designs, and performance evaluation designs for the annual HR strategic plan

  • Metrics Reporting

  • Program effectiveness and outcomes evaluation analysis and reporting

  • Consult on decision-making for programs and monitoring to achieve strategic goals

  • Measure and report on program/project effectiveness by reviewing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and comparing results against expected program or project objectives

  • Formulate and evaluate hypotheses to explain these results

  • Support the execution and tracking of the annual HR strategic plan through these efforts

  • Support the HR Project Managers in running HR projects by backing decisions with data

  • Maintain and update detailed project plans, schedule meetings, route deliverables and regularly communicate updates on ongoing work

  • Can independently prioritize multiple projects

  • Ability to negotiate, manage, and communicate timelines with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to design performance and impact analyses

  • Proficient in basic statistics and approaches to causal inference

  • Ability to work directly with data. Working knowledge of SQL preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree is required

  • 3+ years of experience in work or equivalent such as a Master’s Degree is required

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in HR and People Analytics is preferred
