Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager, Regulatory and Accreditation Services, supports the department in meeting its strategic goals by coordinating processes for which the team is responsible. In collaboration with department leadership, the role supports accurate reporting of regulatory and accreditation performance results and implementation/facilitation of enterprise-wide Regulatory Readiness Playbook.

Major Responsibilities:

•Support regulatory compliance and accreditation across the enterprise through coordination and collaboration with key department leaders in relationship to regulatory and accreditation education and reporting activities

•In collaboration with the Director, Regulatory and Accreditation Services, coordinate implementation of programs produced by the department including monthly office hours calls, programs such as Quality University, Regulatory Readiness Playbook and various boot camp programs facilitated by the department.

•Coordinate completion and ensure accuracy of reports provided to HCA Healthcare senior leaders and others as it relates to regulatory and accreditation performance

•Coordinate activities to support facilitation of enterprise-wide events designed to increase regulatory and accreditation compliance such as annual pre-survey update, and summation of accreditation performance

•Coordination of TJC team leader orientation materials

•Monitor accreditation processes daily

•Promotes collaborative working relationships within the department, with CSG and other corporate departments, division and facility leaders.

•Manages other department processes, as identified by department leadership

Education & Experience:

•Bachelor's degree required

•Master's degree in clinical or healthcare administration-related field preferred

•5+ year(s) experience with regulatory readiness preferred

•Certification and/or demonstrated training/accomplishments in areas supporting regulatory and accreditation compliance and patient safety and/or performance improvement (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality [CPHQ], Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, etc.) Required

•An understanding of accreditation, certification, and licensure of healthcare facilities and HCA Healthcare practices for facility support Required
