Job Summary and Qualifications

Maintains and coordinates timely policies and procedures maintenance, review/revision, posting and distribution. Organizes and maintains systematic data collection and flow of information between departments and into applicable committees.

Qualifications

RN with current Tennessee licensure; BS preferred

Clinical background – 4 years experience

Minimum 2 years QA/PI experience preferred

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Technical skills: computer, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, organized and detailed.

General Essential Functions:

Tracks renewal dates of policies and procedures to ensure timely notification of owners for review.

Ensures receipt of reviewed policies and procedures for timely posting.

Notifies appropriate management staff when posting of policies and procedures is completed.

Organizes and maintains Department and Committee Quality and Regulatory Reporting Calendar to ensure timely and compliant reporting.

Notifies owner of report in a timely manner to facilitate receipt of report for appropriate meeting.

Develops, coordinates and maintains Medical Necessity Review Calendar.

Establishes good working relationships with Medical Staff and Facility Staff.

Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement as required.
