Robert Half Project Manager in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. The main function of this role involves managing complex projects for Clinical Data Registry Abstraction (CDRA) and Health Information Management (HIM). This role offers a contract employment opportunity and may involve travel depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of multiple medium to large projects with moderate to high complexity

• Take projects from original concept through completion, acting as a single point of accountability

• Use project controls and standards to ensure projects meet their stated objectives

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals

• Ensure that the customer perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities

• Encourage others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities

• Facilitate the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace

• Take prompt action to accomplish objectives and achieve goals beyond what is required

• Exhibit behavior styles that meet the demands of the leader role

• Deal effectively with others in antagonistic situations and use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict

• Ensure that meetings serve their business objectives while using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods and considering the needs and potential contributions of others

• Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating and taking ownership of risks/issues and facilitating effective outcomes in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the role of a Project Manager or a similar role.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Proficient in documentation and reporting procedures.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Solid understanding and experience in planning, procedures, policy, and planning processes.

• Strong attention to quality and scheduling.

• Demonstrated expertise in project management.

• Familiarity with About Time and Workstation Support.

• Knowledge about benefit functions and check processing.

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks.

• Capable of tracking progress and implementation of projects.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Understanding of practices to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Demonstrated leadership skills.
