Fiserv Production - Associate II -$1,000 SIGN -ON Bonus in Nashville, Tennessee

What makes a Great Production Associate?

As a Fiserv Production Associate, you'll work a 12- hour rotating shift 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM, along with Overtime as needed. As a Production Associate, we will train on how to operate a commercial size printer and inserting machine equipment and program computer batches to load data. You will carry out tasks making adjustments to machines to ensure work accuracy while responding to equipment error messages. You will be staging print production for pickup. Fiserv strives to be the workplace that you can have fun in as well. We are excited to have Spirit day every Thursday so you can wear your team's apparel instead of the standard Fiserv uniform. We also have Fiserv T-shirt Fridays and a shorts week in the summer.

Shift Schedule:

1st shift - 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - 12 hour Rotating shift

Weekend work is required

3rd shift- 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. - 12-hour Rotating shift

3rd Shift at $17.60/hour$1,000 SIGN -ON Bonus

As a Production Associate, you can expect the following:

  • Receiving on the job paid training and work in a climate controlled environment .

  • Set up, operate, or tend machines that digitally transfer heat to print on thermal materials, according to the order ticket.

  • Examine order tickets to determine quantities to be printed, stock specification, colors, or special printing instructions.

  • Verify that the materials and printing sheets meet the specifications for a given job.

  • Prioritize special order ticket requests.

  • Be attentive to equipment alert messages as soon as they happen.

  • Successful performance requires good vision including close vision.

  • Working with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Follow the security procedures.

  • Operating any equipment used in the credit card personalization or credit card process

  • Performing data entry to update system

  • Operating and monitoring equipment to process work according to instructions and/or client expectations, as well as setting up and calibrating equipment per guidelines and/or job specifications

  • Performing quality checks

  • Verifying accurate material used and embossing completed in accordance with industry standards

  • Troubleshooting to resolve machine and job related problems

  • Assisting in the training of other employees

  • Participating in the team cross-training

  • Maintaining clean work area

  • Understanding, interpreting and abiding by OSHA regulations

  • Receiving on the job paid training and work in a climate controlled environment.

  • Daily assignment of print work assignments to employees reporting to shift.

  • Being mobile and in a standing/walking position majority of the shift duration with ability to lift up to 25 -50 pounds regularly.

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.

  • Control and adjust machine settings, according to the job ticket.

  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.

  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools..

  • Maintain activity logs related to daily secured card production.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, but not required.

  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts.

  • Prioritizing work assignments based on deadlines

  • Experience operating a computer workstation

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Deep knowledge of production operation.

  • Ability to work overtime including Holidays and weekends during peak periods.

  • Flexibility with working in other areas on occasion.

  • Strong ability to multi task.

  • Ability to work with associates with collaboration related to productivity, safety and quality of work.
