More about this role: Principal Product Manager, Order Management

Principal Product Manager, Order Management will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the Order Management business capability end to end. This includes the business strategy to enhance this capability from a user perspective across corporate, plants and warehouses as well as customer point of view from order through the delivery process. This includes critical up and down stream integrations to enable this capability across the business. Driving the entire lifecycle from planning and implementation to ongoing support and enhancements across multiple business segments. Ensuring the platforms involved to enable this business capability meets service level agreements, security requirements, audit and compliance requirements and enables flow of delivery from development through production environments

Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for leveraging process and technology to drive innovation and business transformation.

Platforms Implementation and Integration:

  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Oversee the integration of solutions with other enterprise systems to create a cohesive and efficient IT landscape.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing agile delivery and operations team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure professional development and expertise within the team.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and problem-solving.

Performance Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and assess the performance of the business capabilities across multiple platforms, integration and technology - identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.

  • Implement best practices to contribute positively towards E8 Commitment to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and user experience.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and Bridgestone standards.

  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement and maintain robust data protection measures.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to understand their needs and requirements for technology operations functionality.

  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and overall business goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or Computer Science; Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role overseeing Order Management and Pricing capability and platform management across a global organization.

  • In-depth knowledge of PriceFx and SAP modules, architecture, and integration best practices.

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent work experience
