Job Summary and Qualifications

The Portfolio Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of client specific custom contracts in the medical device categories. This includes providing on-going contract maintenance and support to our clients during the length of the contract as well as assisting in facilitating contract resolution on customer service related issues. He/she will also be responsible for assisting with the management of the SurgIntel Rebate Tracking tool to include presenting client-specific quarterly business reviews.

Additionally, he/she will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of a Medical Device Management engagement to include client interface, the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation and implementation of supplier agreements for custom contract areas involving medical devices. He/she will be responsible for working with the Custom Contracting Directors, Contract Analysts, Financial Analysts, Contract Admins, Contract Specialist, and others to facilitate the finalization of pricing, contract documents and amendments managed by the Custom Contracts team.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manage a portfolio of custom contracts for clients

  • Participate in supplier business reviews and review new products/technologies as they arise.

  • Manage rebate tracking tool

  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

  • Research information and provide assistance as requested by clients and contract directors

  • Prepare presentations, executive summaries, reports, etc.

  • Resolve supplier product or service issues

  • Meet or exceed contracting goals and established timelines

  • Perform all duties in accordance with internal contracting policies and procedures

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”

What qualifications you will need:

  • Accredited College Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance), required

  • Medical Device product knowledge, preferred

  • Ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in negotiating and supply chain operations, preferred
