Outside Sales Director
The Outside Sales Director is responsible for overall sales development within an established territory. Works with customers to find what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. Work is highly independent, cross-functional, and collaborative in nature
We are looking for an Outside Sales Director to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads; Consistently reach and exceed sales quota targets
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs
Pursues sales leads by identifying and executing strategies in order to win the sale and visits customer sites within assigned territory defined by geographic area, industry, and/or product/service segment
Understands, interprets, and negotiates contracts to support expansion
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs by delivering highly engaging and effective presentations with an executive presence
Ensures customer satisfaction and long-term relationships through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale
Works cross functionally to ensure position messaging and brand image in all customer communications
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts
Provides mentorship and guidance to more junior sales managers

• Excellent knowledge of outside sales processes and contracts
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; a specialist on complex business matters
• Excellent presentation skills with a strong executive presence
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to be successful with work that is highly independent, cross-functional, and collaborative in nature
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• 6 + years of related experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role
Bachelor’s Diploma/Degree, or the equivalent Complex enterprise multi-level process consultative sales experience
