Robert Half Office Manager/Bookkeeper in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are seeking a methodical and motivated individual to fill the role of a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves managing the overall operations of our office and handling the company's financial transactions accurately. The role is in the Accounting industry, and the individual will be stationed at our Nashville office.

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and managing the office operations and procedures

• Coordinating with IT department on all office equipment

• Managing relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord

• Ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time

• Providing general support to visitors

• Assisting in the onboarding process for new hires

• Handling customer inquiries and complaints

• Performing general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts

• Maintaining accurate financial records and statements

• Utilizing SAP/SAP Concur to manage the company's financial transactions

• Preparing and submitting weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports

• Implementing bookkeeping policies and procedures, as well as an effective system for managing financial transactions

• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience with Concur software is a plus

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
