Oracle NPI Materials Senior Manager in Nashville, Tennessee
Oracle is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a NPI Materials Senior Manager within our global Supply Chain Operations organization. You will lead a team of NPI Materials Program Management professionals with focus on effective NPI material management enabling supply chain reliability, flexibility, and speed for customers. This role involves applying advanced supply chain techniques, ensuring materials readiness supports critical pre-production milestones, and implementing tools and processes.
Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain Operations teams to identify NPI product forecasts for Prototype build requirements and ensure the timely execution of materials planning and supply readiness.
Identify and implement opportunities for supply chain improvements, executing materials readiness methodologies through strategic supplier/distributor partnerships and risk buys.
Communicate NPI material status and report out as required.
Select, develop, coach, mentor and evaluate personnel.
Lead initiatives and drive process improvements/systems tools to enhance scalability and efficiency within the team and with contract manufacturing partners/suppliers.
Initiate processes to monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) changes throughout NPI phases, conducting change impact analysis with cross-functional teams to mitigate liability and schedule impacts.
Identify and communicate supply chain risks, along with mitigation plans, ensuring materials readiness for NPI builds.
Recognize and address NPI excess and obsolete (E&O) and other material risks, providing recommendations to leadership and taking ownership to mitigate liability.
Drive process alignments with contract manufacturers/suppliers, develop and measure key performance indicators to ensure expectations and target goals are met.
Review and ensure the robustness of the contract manufacturer material management system and processes, driving corrective actions for non-compliances and validating performance improvements.
Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at acceptable levels.
Job duties are varied and complex. The NPI Materials Senior Manager must be able to operate in a fast-paced ambiguous environment. Key skills and abilities include: demonstrated leadership and people management skills, influencing, communication/presentation skills, complex/statistical data analysis, process improvement, problem-solving, and cross-functional team leadership. Prefer supply chain background, 5+ years relevant management experience and BA/BS degree.

US: Hiring Range: from $109,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
