Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

Enterprise Mobility Platform Systems Engineer will provide tier three support for Omnissa WorkSpace One, iOS, iPadOS, Android devices, and Apple MacBooks to the enterprise. Candidate will be responsible for platform management, version management, and documentation for these software applications. Ensuring optimal operations and minimal disruption is a primary responsibility for this role.

Candidate will work directly with field analysts, engineers and division leadership to provide incident resolution, and strategic updates. Candidate will also work directly with vendors on product support issues and product roadmaps. Provide customer support to the community admins and technical resources across the enterprise.

Candidate is expected to learn and perform support and operational duties within the WorkSpace One platform. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new technologies and engage with data, analysis and reporting of operational metrics.

Candidate is expected to have general technical and operational skills and will work with experienced engineers who are committed to the growth and mentorship process of the candidate as they progress in their career.

Interacts with other IT&S departments to support and promote the strategy for Workspace One, Apple and Android platforms within the enterprise (ITSD, lTG, Information Security, Field IT support staff, Advanced Architecture, DTS community, System Administrator community).

It is a plus if the candidate has a working knowledge of VMWare WorkspaceOne, Jira, Apple Ecosystem, and ServiceNow software. It is required, for the candidate to be familiar with the Mac OS systems and both Apple and Android devices. It is also helpful if the candidate has a working knowledge of data analysis and some BI reporting. Experience with Python is a strong plus.

Must have strong customer focus, be a team player and display a positive attitude.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, a must. Strong problem-solving abilities and creative approaches.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides operational support for VMWare WorkspaceOne platform.

• Provides support for Apple Mac hardware and operating systems.

• Supports mobile technology for new projects. Participates, as needed, in technical implementation projects.

• Works closely with enterprise personnel to coordinate the implementation and ongoing support of systems used to support the enterprise.

• Coordinates sharing of best practices and policies and procedures.

• Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance.

• Interfaces directly with a wide variety of end users and technical counterparts in other division, facility, and corporate roles.

• Adheres to and supports HCA IT&S standards, policies, and procedures.

• Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care.

• Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required

EXPERIENCE

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required
