Philips IT Business Partner in Nashville, Tennessee

IT Business Partner (Nashville, TN)

New position to serve as the transitional IT Leader for planned business divestment. This position will be hired to lead the disentanglement of the divested business for a period up to 12 months and may remain with the divested business as the IT leader post-sale.

Scope includes oversight of all applications, infrastructure, security, compliance, etc. with an anticipated annual IT opex budget of $9-11M.

Your role:

  • Responsible for solution design consistent with the EA principles, executed in line with the standards, rules, and guidelines.

  • Analyze business requirements to guide solution design for the Domain.

  • Responsible for identifying and driving IT vendor to deliver requirements.

  • Provide advice to stakeholders and ensure solution design is aligned and supported by respective stakeholders (subject matter experts).

  • Recognize conflicts in the detailed solution design and take countermeasures to resolve those.

  • Establishes strong interactions with SMEs and IT vendor to ensure solutions are built as designed.

  • Define standards and design principles for the new organization

  • Responsible for managing solution architecture risk in the Scrum Team.

  • Defines and updates the back-to standard plan in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Supports cross-platform End2End design as part of the Architecture community.

  • Supports technology selection and proof of concepts.

  • Responsible for Platform-level solution design executed in line with the standards, rules and according to Enterprise Architecture Guidance.

  • Supports the solution selection based on defined F&VP process and business requirements.

  • Collaborate with other vendor and subject matter experts in cross-platform solution design to ensure e2e working designs.

  • Establish Platform and application privacy and security standards and ensure vendor compliance.

  • Establish vendor compliance with contracted services.

  • Support the management of the solution architecture Platform risks.

  • Gives active support/guidance to IT service providers.

  • In collaboration with Quality and Regulatory subject matter experts, create and ensure that all regulatory standards for non-product software are adhered too.

  • Dimensions related:

  • Solution Design readiness to enable program release/sprint, ensure high-quality backlog for scrum teams.

  • Measure: Delivery of required Architecture artifacts based on the Platform release planning.

  • Solution Design compliant to EA standards, guidelines, principles.

  • Measure: Based on EA compliance dashboard per Platform.

  • Driving integration through API and the orchestration layer.

  • Measure: # of key API’s per area implemented.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Technical understanding of various IT systems, infrastructure, and software.

  • Years of experience (15+) in IT transformation roles desirably in similar/Health Tech industry

  • Prior experience in managing IT in a M&A environment, particularly with separations or divestitures.

  • Previous project management experience, preferably in leading IT projects.

  • Technical understanding of various IT systems, infrastructure, and software.

  • Specific knowledge/experience of med device IT landscapes, operating procedures and compliance – especially with regard to IT CSV (computer system validation) and related FDA regulations for computerized systems.

  • Experience managing IT suppliers (including offshore), IT supplier / software contracts and license management.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
