Inventory/ Data Entry Clerk (TN, Nashville)TN, Nashville We are seeking an analytical and organized Inventory/Data Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, updating data in our systems, and ensuring that all inventory-related information is current and accessible. This position plays a key role in supporting the efficient operations of the warehouse and ensuring the accuracy of our inventory data.

Duties

• Accurately enter and update inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS) and other databases.

• Use Excel to manage and analyze inventory spreadsheets, including creating pivot tables and other data management tools.

• Track and process inventory movements, including receiving, shipping, and stock adjustments.

• Maintain organized digital and physical files and records for easy access and retrieval of inventory data.

• Assist in performing regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Identify and correct discrepancies in inventory records through data verification and reconciliation.

• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory operations and streamline processes.

• Provide clerical support when necessary, including preparing inventory reports and filing.

Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Basic math skills for handling numerical data accurately and efficiently.

• Previous experience in inventory management or data entry in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus but not mandatory.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
