Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director, M&CA Program Operations serves as an internal consultant and team leader within and across M&CA teams, supporting planning, development, and execution of key strategic programs. They support development and maintenance of portfolio management processes that enable project governance and decision making across Marketing & Corporate Affairs (M&CA) leaders. The Director, M&CA Program Operations is an objective, systematic, and strategic problem solver. They regularly manage ambiguity and competing priorities with an ability to facilitate cross functional collaboration and navigate free form discussion to distill definitive, actionable next steps

What you will do in this role:

Program Leadership

• Works across teams, in partnership with project management, to develop connected and cohesive planning, tracking, and reporting of assigned programs

• Provides oversight of project execution, ensuring issues and escalations are properly addressed, and cross-project dependencies are understood

• Develops and manages program governance

• Demonstrated expertise in large, complex project management

• Ensures resource planning and capacity management is in place for assigned programs; develops or contributes to development of toolkits, communications, and change management plans

• Serves as business owner with defined decision authority when applicable

Portfolio Management

• Ensures assigned programs meet portfolio management defined criteria and milestones

• Creates visibility and accountability within assigned teams with escalations to appointed leaders

• Facilitates decisions amongst M&CA leaders

• Engages M&CA Operations team appropriately to plan and enable financial resources and support, contracting, resourcing, and other business functions.

Internal Consulting

• Serves as a neutral party to assess and make recommendations to solve specific assigned business problems

• Utilizes a mixture of project management, business analysis, and business consulting skill sets according to the needs of each unique assignment

• Facilitates planning, analysis, and/or decision making working sessions at all levels of the M&CA organization

• Defines, documents, and executes operational strategy while assessing and accounting for multiple competing strategies

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree is required

• Master’s degree preferred

• 7+ years of experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or consulting role
