DCI is currently looking for an experienced Dialysis Biomedical Technician to join our Corporate Education and Quality Management Department. This individual will act as a Corporate Technician , providing education and training to promote quality patient care while assisting our facilities with improving outcomes and observing operations for opportunities for improvement.
Schedule: Fulltime; extensive travel required, relocation to Nashville not required.

Responsibilities
Quality of Care:
Facilitates the improvement of clinical, technical, and financial outcomes in assigned clinics by helping to develop quality improvement plans based on regulations and policies
Identifies alternative options/problem solving to improve outcomes
Reviews monthly clinic report cards to assist clinic in the improvement of outcomes that fall below corporate goals
Training/Education:
Participates in the development of educational tools for clinics to use to meet regulatory and academic needs
Provides in-service materials to clinics for individual or group presentations
Develop educational material for on-line education program
Serves as mentor to technical staff in the dialysis unit
Communications:
Facilitates communication between managers of clinics and the corporate office
Communicates with clinic managers on a regular basis at all assigned facilities
Communicates well with clinics using email and conference calls
Problem Solving:
Facilitates gathering of information and formulating plan for problem solving related to technical/financial operations in the clinic
Facilitates unbiased assessment of all angles of problem before formulating solution
Regulatory:
Assists with development and implementation of company template policies and procedures
Assist with enforcement of a core group of corporate mandated policy and procedures by educating the clinic on possible deficiencies
Serves as a resource to clinic on interpretation of Medicare and state regulations.
Qualifications
Successful Candidates Bring:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated equipment proficiency
Desire to collaborate with team members
Ability to problem solve
Electronics, plumbing or plant maintenance background
Education/Training:
High school degree or equivalent required
Minimum of 10 years experience as a biomedical technician in a dialysis setting required
Up to 50% travel required
2 years management experience preferred
