PeopleReady Commercial Plumber in Nashville, Tennessee

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers for a variety of commercial construction projects. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.

The pay rate for this job is $28 - $38 / hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas piping.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.

  • Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and other plumbing systems.

  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

  • Diagnose plumbing issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments.

  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient installation of systems.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a plumber in commercial construction projects.

  • Familiarity with commercial plumbing systems and materials (e.g., PVC, CPVC, copper, PEX, cast iron).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.

  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.

  • Physical ability to handle plumbing tools and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and lifting.

  • Must have personal hand tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

  • Relevant plumbing certifications or licenses are required.

  • Reliable transportation to the job site.
