Business Change Manager Sr (JR119412)

Preferred Location : Nashville. CENTRAL TIME ZONE work hours.

NOTE : This is part of our Hybrid Workforce Strategy and requires 1 – 2 days/week in the local office. Must reside within 50 miles and 1 hour commute of an Elevance Health main location.

The Business Change Manager Sr. is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope.

  • Leads efforts to identify best practices.

  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

  • Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

  • Designs methods for integrating function and process.

  • Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

  • Supports departmental planning efforts and the execution of business.

  • Support development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures.

  • Project management responsibilities such as executive reporting, project communications, management of issues logs and change requests, facilitating project meetings, managing deliverables and ensuring resolution of escalated issues.

  • Develops and coordinates presentations and materials for executive management meetings.

  • Will provide direct “chief of staff” level support to market RVP

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 8 years process improvement, business change or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign strongly preferred.

  • Project Management experience strongly preferred.

  • PMP and/or Six Sigma training a plus.

  • Healthcare/Health Insurance industry experience.

  • Medicaid and/or Medicare preferred.

  • Experienced in delivering executive level presentations.
