Job Summary and Qualifications

The AVP, Global Org Effectiveness & Change Management is responsible for organizational and workforce transformation efforts required to create and sustain HCA Healthcare’s Global Capability Network. The role is responsible for the strategy and execution of activities to drive change management, training and engagement for current and future HCA Healthcare colleagues globally. The VP and their team are also responsible for developing the organizational analysis of the Global Capability Network including overseeing the job architecture strategy, identifying capability gaps and designing new roles.

Key Competencies:

Change Management & Communications

  • Oversee the design, development and execution of an enterprise-wide change strategy and change management activities for colleagues across a global transformation

  • Oversee the design, development and execution of an enterprise-wide communications strategy for internal and external stakeholders, partnering with Marketing and internal teams to deliver messaging to include operational updates, leadership announcements, public relations, employer branding in India and media

  • Approve mitigations through change actions, training or communications to support colleagues and global teams through the transition to a Global Capability Network

  • Apply and promote the HCA Healthcare employer brand in global markets, partnering with US Marketing and HR organizations to ensure alignment

Community Engagement

  • Oversee local community engagement strategy in global markets, develop relationships with global market NGOs and non-profit organizations, promote volunteer activities that align with HCA Healthcare’s brand and support local needs

  • Drive the talent experience for all Global Capability Network colleagues including culture initiatives to foster an engaged, supportive a workforce that values continuous learning and innovation

Organizational Design

  • Partner with HR to design the job architecture strategy for the Global Capability Network and oversee the development of new roles

  • Partner with the HCA Healthcare local and global leaders to identify capability and workforce gaps

  • Partner with HR to develop a strategic workforce planning strategy to identify roles that may need to be rearchitected due to the innovation and transformations implemented

Training

  • Work closely with business leaders in the US to develop the training strategy for Global Capability Network colleagues including knowledge and on the job training, upskilling or onboarding

  • Oversee the execution and implementation of the training strategy across the Global Capability Network

Competencies:

Professional

  • Experience managing communications, change mgmt., organizational design and training in a highly matrixed global organization

  • Experience leading a team responsible for caring for the employee experience through global initiatives for shared services functions

  • Represent HCA Healthcare in interactions with senior-level executives, both within and outside the organization, as well as with government officials

  • Experience driving communication efforts across a global audience

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels in a hybrid, multicultural environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

  • 15+ years of experience in HR, Talent or Organization Effectiveness roles, preferably in a large global organization

  • 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams

  • Experience working across geographic regions preferred

  • Previous consulting and / or advisory experience preferred

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time, including international travel

  • Located in Nashville, TN
