Job Summary

• Under the direction of a physician, performs a variety of vascular procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the creation of technically diagnostic exams for interpretation by a vascular surgeon and or radiologist.

• Assists vascular surgeons/ radiologist during invasive procedures.

• Performs quality ultrasound exams on patients by implementing clinical protocols and policies that includes Arterial Duplex, Carotid, ABI’s, and venous testing.

• Prepares all equipment necessary to perform patient exams appropriately.

• Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.

  Job Requirements

• Degree or certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program required.

• Registered in vascular ultrasound by the ARDMS or CCI required.

• BLS required.

• Maintains current NH state Licensure in Imaging.
