BAE Systems Operations Program Management Lead in Nashua, New Hampshire

The Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) product line is developing and delivering the future of electronic warfare, today!

In this role you will be part of the AEWS product line and directly responsible for leading a dynamic portfolio of programs running multiple contracts concurrently. A primary responsibility of this role will be to set the strategy for several critical make/where decisions of a high-volume franchise family of programs. In addition, this individual will be responsible for setting a strategy for affordability and cost takeout initiatives.

This Operations Program Manager will oversee and manage the Operations project(s) and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Other duties include

  • Leading the operations team by working with Manufacturing management, Supplier quality management, Supply Chain management, Procurement, and Logistics to drive problem resolution.

  • Partnering with multiple factories across the country to remove roadblocks and provide leadership support to overcome stops on the manufacturing floor.

  • Driving down (HPU), Defects, unit production cost (UPC), Scrap and Rework data, and working crossing functionally to identify areas for efficiencies, cost reduction, and other opportunities.

  • Effectively holding functions accountable to action item closure and driving resolution.

  • Proactive approach for new production lots utilizing lessons learned

  • Providing concise communications and critical data up the leadership path and presenting in/to Product Line and Customers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Masters degree or equivalent in engineering, operations, and business/ finance.

  • 10 years work experience or equivalent experience in manufacturing.

  • Proficient with MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written to present to all levels of leadership.

  • Highly motivated and solution oriented, continuous improvement mindset.

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to execute multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.

  • Ability to hold others accountable to actions and action closure.

  • Must be able to obtain secret clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
