Genesis Healthcare Occupational Therapy Assistant -- Community Based Therapy (Full Time) in Nashua, New Hampshire

POSITION SUMMARY: T he Occupational Therapy Assistant will primarily provide outpatient

rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. The in-home setting could be a patient's private residence or in a patient's room in an independent living facility. Vitality to You allows the Occupational Therapy Assistant to treat in the most functional environment which is the patient's home. T he Occupational Therapy Assistant implements occupational therapy programs and provides occupational therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. T his position provides a flexible schedule and work environment in various settings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards 2. Must have initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy 3. Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice 4. Requires good organizational and time management skills 5. Requires good verbal and written communication skills
