BAE Systems Material Planning Coordinator III in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

Supports the manufacturing process by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering lab environments to assure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and operations commitments. Maintains job progress, status records and notifies supply chain planner and supervisor of impending delays or constraints. Responds to material shortages due to lost, damaged or defective material in order to prevent work stoppages. Maintains accurate records by updating applicable systems which provide status or reports to the supply chain planner. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Requires a High School education or equivalent and two (2) years related experience in material/production or configuration control environment.

  • The ability to lift and move materials weighing up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.)

  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • The ability to utilize mainframe applications such as Oracle, Data View, PDM, TIPQA, SVS paperless and Solumina to perform daily tasks.

  • Actively participate and be a leader for the cycle count activities in the factory.

  • Be the supply chain focal point for all Point of Use Material in the factory.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Independent worker.

  • This job requires flexibility and may require off Friday and weekend work during certain times.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $56195 - $89912
