ProLog, Inc. Supply Technician in NAS Jacksonville, Florida

The employee shall perform limited aspects of technical supply management work related to the Production Support Services Contract. The employee shall perform any combination of the following duties:

  • Support the Production Department’s efforts in the negotiated workload while performing technical supply management work such as inventory management material coordination, storage management, cataloging, property utilization relative to depot, local or other supply activities.

  • Compiles and records production data from customer dispatch lists including; work tickets, orders, product specifications and individual worker production sheets.

  • Basic knowledge of Military Standard Requisitioning and issue procedures (MILSTRIP) under Automatic Data Processing (ADP) environment.

  • Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies. Utilizing MTO, CONOPS, HAYSTACK, EMALL and One Touch data base systems. Writes production reports based on data compiled. Maintains files of documents used and prepared.

  • Must have an understanding of the needs of the organization, tracks production shop schedules to ensure timely completion of daily, monthly and quarterly schedules.

  • Enters required transactions into the manufactured resource planning (MRP) data base, locating and expediting workloads. Conducts written, verbal and electronic communications with other Supply Technicians throughout the depot to expedited the production workload.

  • Coordinates with Production Controllers, Inventory Managers, supply activities, and commercial vendors as required accomplishing the production workload.

  • Performs additional duties as prescribed by the respective hub scheduler and or supply technical support supervisor.

Required Experience, Training & Certifications:

  • Applicant must have recent and documented experience with Government supply system programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, and publications. Supply Technicians tasking is segregated by function and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.

  • Recent and documented experience with Naval Aviation material control, aviation and/or government supply system programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods and publications.

  • Past documented experience utilizing MILSTRIP, MTO, CONOPS, HAYSTACK, EMALL AND ONE TOUCH DATA BASES as well as Microsoft office applications are required.

  • History of working in a well-structured industrial environment as well as a working knowledge of lean six sigma principles is desirable.

Required Security Clearance Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check with the Department of Defense.
