How you will make an impact:
Lead IT system architecture, design solutions, manage vendors, software contracts and projects focused on cloud infrastructure and IP protection
Architect robust cloud solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of solution development while ensuring solutions architecture is in adherence to appropriate regulatory requirements
Evaluate new IT technologies and build effective solutions for NPD
Architect end-to-end solutions using Cloud services and microservices (e.g., IoT and Container Services)
Develop configuration management/application deployment using tools (e.g., Azure Devops Pipelines, Gradle, Puppet, and/or Chef) for assigned software products
Manage cyber-related vendor relationships and harmonize needs across all stakeholders
Other duties as assigned by Management: Provide coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer to other team members
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
10 years' of related experience
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
Experience with hospital networks, server and network infrastructure
Other: Certifications in related disciplines
What else we look for (Preferred):
Experience with Scrum, Agile or related product development methods and processes
Knowledge of Medical Device product lifecycle to provide technical leadership
Advanced experience with AWS preferred, demonstrated experience with best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following: AWS S3, Redshift, Azure DW, Azure blob Storage
Demonstrated experience on best practices for AWS or Azure account setup, governance, and architecture
Experience with system engineering for combined hardware, software systems
.NET backend troubleshooting experience
Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis.
Demonstrated technical project management skills on multi-year projects with multi-functional teams
Familiarity with container and resource management technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Mesos preferred
Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization while applying broad-based technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines
Expert knowledge of Azure IaaS components like VMs, Virtual networks, Storage and PaaS components like App Service, Serverless computing, Storage
Expert knowledge of AWS VPCs, Subnets, EC2s, routing.
Expert knowledge of AWS Compute, Storage, IoT, Developer Tools.
Expert knowledge of IaC toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Powershell etc.
Ability to do Code Review for all Cloud Automation Scripts mostly written in Python, CloudFormation, Powershell etc

For Illinois (IL), the base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $201,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
