North Central College, IL Half-Time Assistant Professor in Communication in Naperville, Illinois

Position Summary:

The Department of Communication and Media Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a half-time non tenure-track position in Communication, to begin Fall 2024.

The successful candidate will be a generalist with the ability to teach public speaking as well as 200-level COMM courses (such as COMM 214 Group Interaction and COMM 280 Business and Professional Communication). The teaching load for the position is two courses per semester. A terminal degree is not required; a Master’s degree holder in Communication, Rhetoric or a related field with significant relevant teaching experience could excel in this role. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
