We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to operate and monitor machines within the wine industry, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include performing in-line quality checks, handling machine maintenance and setups, logging production data, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. salary: $20 - $22 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 1:30 AM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation and Monitoring:

  • Operate and monitor wine capsule machines, ensuring production targets are met and quality standards are maintained. Manage up to two machines simultaneously.

  • Quality Control and Adjustments:

  • Perform in-line quality checks, adjust machines as needed to correct deviations, and detect and remove defective materials.

  • Maintenance and Setup:

  • Conduct first-level maintenance on equipment. Handle machine changeovers and setups for new products or configurations.

  • Production and Downtime Logging:

  • Record dry goods usage, downtime, and other relevant production data in logs. Provide reports to the Lead or Supervisor before shift end.

  • Packaging and Cleanup:

  • Package capsules according to specifications and facilitate the rework, reconditioning, and general clean-up of the bottling line and assigned areas.

  • Housekeeping and 5S Standards:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace following housekeeping and 5S principles.

  • Issue Reporting and Additional Duties:

  • Report mechanical issues immediately to the Line Lead or Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • standing for 10 hours at one time
