How Will You Contribute to the Company?\ The Production Manager position is responsible for managing production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. The Production Manager is responsible to plan and manage workload to meet production schedule provided daily.\ \ What Will You Do?

  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
  • Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels to assure production build plan is meet managing a balance of fulltime and temporary employees
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
  • Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager
  • Manage production priorities to assure production build plan is meet each day
  • Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees
  • Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
  • Supervise all employees in production and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department

\ Qualifications\ Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
  • Good communications skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Must have the ability to make critical decisions, coach and expedite solutions when situations arise
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
  • Work standing or walking for long periods of time
  • Five (5+) years\' experience in manufacturing operations
  • Two (2+) years\' experience in a supervisory capacity
  • High school diploma, GED, and/or equivalent professional experience

\ Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree
