Valley Health at Home by BAYADA is currently seeking an Certified Nurse Assistant, CNA , for a per diem opportunity performing home health visits with adult patients. Immediate opportunity available in the northern Las Vegas territory.

As a home health care CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Must have access to reliable transportation as candidate will be traveling to see several clients throughout the day.

A CNA must:

• Have at least one year of work experience

• Must be listed on the NV Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.

• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

• Have a criminal background check completed

• Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for a Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Nurse Aide:

• Activities of daily living

• Light housekeeping

• Bathing

• Grooming

• Toileting

• Nail care

• Range of motion / exercises

• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

• Oral feeding

• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

• Assisting with ambulation

• Medication assistance
