- Not less than five (5) years employment in the construction or maintenance field including at least one (1) year employment in the special trade skill, preferably in the field of school or industrial building maintenance
- In lieu of these requirements, an equivalent combination of experience and apprentice, vocational school, or on the job training may be accepted
- Graduation from a related vocational course of study or equivalent experience
- Possession of a Connecticut motor vehicle operators license
- Must possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
