Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Myrtle Beach, SC to find a skilled Lab Technician to join the team! This position will be full-time and long-term. Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!

Responsibilities for this job include-

• Prepare and analyze lab blends for color match requests.

• Perform all required testing on incoming finished goods material and maintaining retain samples.

• Document, analyze and interpret test results.

• Serve as back-up for preparing pigments for upcoming batches.

• Perform basic laboratory maintenance including, but not limited to, stocking lab supplies,

maintaining test equipment and maintaining a clean work area.

• Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager.

• Follow basic lab safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications for this job include-

• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a cross-functional team

• Capable of working in a high-paced environment

• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and ERP System (SAP) software

• Previous color matching experience a plus

• Minimum associate's degree in science

• Reliable transportation

This is a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and pay will be based on experience.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
