Description A CPA firm in the East of Pittsburgh area is looking for a Junior Tax Preparer.

This Junior Tax Preparer is ON-SITE and temporary/temporary to hire.

The Junior Tax Preparer duties include:

We are seeking an experienced Junior Tax Preparer with expertise in federal, state, and local tax returns, including out-of-state filings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, proficiency in Lacerte, and the ability to handle complex tax scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, including multi-state filings.

• Accurately input tax return data into Lacerte and ensure compliance with tax laws.

• Manage complex tax situations and provide expert-level tax preparation support.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns while identifying potential deductions and credits.

• Stay up to date with tax regulations and changes that impact client filings.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled Agent (EA) or equivalent tax preparation experience.

• Experience with individual and business tax returns, including multi-state tax filings.

• Proficiency in Lacerte or similar tax preparation software is a huge plus
