Job Description
AECOM is seeking a BIM Manager to be based in the Southwest United States (Denver, CO; Austin, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; or Murray, UT).
As a member of AECOM’s Water Business Line, you will provide civil and industrial mechanical piping design focused support including all aspects of wastewater design focus supporting all design disciplines. As a contributor on the regional team, you will utilize the latest technology the industry offers and support diverse multi-discipline projects while gaining a greater understanding of the details that make a project successful.
Working under the limited general supervision of project leaders, you will perform advanced technical work utilizing a wide variety of resources, digital tools and hardware with responsibilities including:
Strong software background in: Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, BIM 360, Navisworks, Dynamo, Rushforth
Visual rendering output using Infraworks, Enscape or other tools
Generation and implementation of Revit models at all phases of the projects, using both company or client standards and developing new templates when required
Day-to-day management of the digital models
Exchanging project data with multiple consultants through local and virtual servers
Generating
D federated models for clash detection, generating reports to demonstrate coordination progress and clash mitigation
Understanding and proactively implementing the required LOD, and CoBie/CMMS data at each of the project stages, as per project-specific requirements
Developing periodic training sessions for the design team and other stakeholders
Creating, enforcing, updating, and implementing project-specific and practice-wide BIM standards and execution manuals, including both internal and external management of design teams
Work closely with the design team reporting requirements and agreements from BIM Coordination meetings
Revit rfa family parametric modeling
CADD project coordination and verification reviews
Mentoring other CAD production staff
Training and supervising work-flow and seminars
Updating internal protocols within the organization
Generating an understanding of process and instrumentation diagrams
Strong understanding of wastewater equipment
Proficient with structural modeling and design
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Industrial and Mechanical piping design experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience with Revit, Plant 3D, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) on fabrication; wastewater practice
Leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication; ability to function as a production designer
Additional Information

Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000
