About the role:

We at the CBRE Commissioning team are seeking a person to support clients in the region! This person can work remote and travel. We support project team by delivering building commissioning services that require application of standard techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger one.

This position will work remote and want them to be located within Indiana, Kentucky, or Tennessee. Will be 40-50% travel.

What you’ll do:

  • Review, develops, and collates construction project related reports and result documentation for review and approval.

  • Perform on-site inspection, testing, validation, and verification of building system for small projects.

  • Review construction related design documents, drawings, and specifications for approval.

  • Plan, chairs, and documents all project commissioning meetings.

  • Verify design documents, equipment submittals and measured performance are consistent with the specifications and client's operation requirements.

  • Perform onsite observations relating to installation of building systems; prepares associated documentation for approval.

  • On smaller projects, direct onsite system testing and monitoring of systems.

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant business science, or equivalent plus appropriate continuing education or 5 years commissioning experience; or 7+ yeas specific construction trade experience.

  • LEED AP, BCA ACP, OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Additional Skills:

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to respond to critical issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on topics to employees, clients and/or public groups.

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Commissioning Agent position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
