What do you contribute?
Become part of our dedicated team and provide impulses for sustainable and efficient mobility. You will be responsible for the material field strategy and procurement for a commodity in the field of mechanical components for innovative rail vehicles - from welded assemblies and GRP components to state-of-the-art air conditioning systems for the ICE.
You will lead a cross-functional team to develop the optimal technical solutions together with our suppliers during the development phase and to break up single-source situations in existing projects.
Moreover, you will be responsible for designing procurement strategies using game theory methods in order to achieve the optimum cost/benefit position for projects.
You will manage suppliers in terms of performance and quality and implement supplier development measures on your own initiative.
Further, you will analyze global procurement markets and identify suppliers, capacities, and technologies.
Also, you will consistently and proactively drive forward the topics of digitalization and process optimization in your area of responsibility.
What do you bring along?
The basis for your success is a technical or scientific degree (Master's/Diploma).
In addition, you will convince us with many years of professional experience in international strategic purchasing, alternatively in international technical project management.
You have gained this expertise in a technical business field.
As a result, you have expert knowledge of SAP and common data analysis methods (e.g., CELONIS).
Also, you have extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams in an international context.
You feel at home in an intercultural environment and are business fluent in English.
