BlackBox TPS APAC Marketing Leader in Mumbai, India

The Black Box TPS APAC Solutions Marketing manager reports to the Vice President of Global Marketing and interacts daily with the Vice President of APAC Sales. The position is responsible for understanding customer needs and pain points and developing and promoting solutions that address those needs. Their primary focus is creating and marketing comprehensive APAC solutions that combine TPS products, partner services, and an ecosystem of technologies to solve customer problems or fulfill specific needs.

The Black Box TPS APAC Solutions Marketing Manager will demonstrate a strong commitment to a customer-centric approach, prioritizing an in-depth understanding of customer needs and preferences to drive the development and promotion of Black Box TPS products and solutions.

As the Black Box TPS Solutions Marketing Manager, a pivotal aspect of the role involves meeting with customers one-on-one to understand their unique challenges and organizational objectives. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth discussions with key stakeholders across various industries within the Asia-Pacific region, actively listening to their feedback and insights to gain valuable perspectives on market trends and customer needs. Through these personalized interactions, you will cultivate strong customer relationships, establishing a rapport that positions Black Box TPS as a trusted partner in solving our customer's most pressing business problems.

By leveraging your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will effectively communicate our solutions' Black Box TPS value proposition, tailor offerings to meet specific customer requirements and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your ability to engage with customers individually and with Black Box TPS sales leaders will be instrumental in shaping our go-to-market strategies and ensuring the continued success and growth of Black Box TPS in the APAC market.

Specific responsibilities include:

1 Market Research: Conducting market research to understand customer needs, preferences, pain points, and competitive offerings in the market.

2 Event Management: Manage end-to-end event planning and execution, including virtual (webinar) and in-person events (tradeshows), coordinating logistics, content development, vendor relationships, attendee engagement strategies, and post-event follow-up to ensure seamless and impactful experiences for participants.

3 Messaging and Positioning: Developing clear and compelling messaging and positioning for the solutions, highlighting the unique value proposition and critical benefits for target customers.

4 Content Creation: Creating marketing collateral such as whitepapers, case studies, solution briefs, presentations, and website content to educate customers about the solutions and demonstrate their value.

5 Sales Enablement: Providing sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and support to sell the solutions effectively. This may include developing sales decks, training materials, and competitive battle cards.

6 Go-to-Market Strategy: Developing and executing go-to-market strategies to launch and promote the solutions. This involves identifying target customer segments, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional tactics.

7 Social media: Executing social media initiatives to elevate brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth across diverse platforms. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting compelling content, managing social media accounts, orchestrating campaigns, and monitoring results.

8 Customer Engagement: Engaging with customers to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs, and identify opportunities to enhance the solutions.

9 Solution Development: Collaborating with sales, product management, engineering, and other teams to develop comprehensive product offerings that meet customer needs. This involves understanding the capabilities and limitations of the products or services offered and how they can be combined or customized to create effective solutions.

10 Performance Measurement: Tracking and analyzing quarterly key performance metrics to evaluate the success of solution marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in event management, including virtual (webinars) and in-person events (tradeshows), preferably in a B2B or technology-focused environment.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to achieve event objectives.

  • Proficiency in event management tools and platforms, including virtual event platforms, registration systems, and event analytics tools.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to conceptualize innovative event ideas and address challenges that may arise during the planning and execution.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate event logistics, content development, speaker coordination, and attendee engagement strategies.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate the evolving landscape of virtual and hybrid event formats, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.

  • Willingness to travel for in-person events and work non-traditional hours as needed to accommodate event schedules and time zones in the Asia-Pacific region.
