Oracle Snr Manager - CSR in MUMBAI, India

Job Description

Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) seeks a Senior Manager to support the company’s CSR activities in India. OFSS spends approximately US$6 million annually. Currently the spend is done through a set of NGOs. In future, the company aspires to undertake projects directly as well in addition to the current projects. The person in this role will be a direct report to a senior OFSS manager. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, capable of building team, do-gooder who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, able to make sense of complexity, and navigate multiple systems. The person should be able to drive CXO level conversations.

Position location: Mumbai India

In this position, you will:

  • Drive OFSS CSR Strategy , focusing on the key priorities set by the OFSS Board of Directors and consistent with Oracle’s global standard focus areas: education, environment, community. Prepare annual spend proposals, quarterly review; monitor actual spend and take corrective actions needed.

  • Develop expense budget/hiring plans to build the team that can drive the CSR projects

  • Prepare OFSS's annual grant portfolio consistent with Oracle Social Impact’s standards,

  • Support the continued success of Oracle’s CSR strategy in India , focused on advancing education, protecting the environment, and strengthening communities.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders tohelp ensure compliance with local CSR laws,including regular project monitoring and reporting, tracking fund disbursement and utilization, and facilitating annual impact assessments of each project.

  • Adhere to Oracle Compliance Ethics Policies and internal policies around CSR spend .

  • Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping,reporting, supplier onboarding, and payment processing.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Finance and Legal teams, as well as OFSS grantees and impact assessment vendor.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree minimum, Masters preferred. 10 years' experience in management, Operations, CSR, a related field, nonprofit practice, or a combination.

  • Strong project management experience and ability to build team

  • Strong result orientation

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Attention to details

  • Open to travel

  • CSR legal/compliance experience a plus.

  • Previous technology industry experience a plus.
