We are looking to hire a successful OE Process Engineer in Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) who will work with multiple stakeholder teams in India to find areas of opportunity to reduce defects or costs within current processes, find solutions, and implement the improvement. Working closely with Engineering, Logistics, and Operations teams, this individual ensures that innovation projects are deliver, operational standards are applied, performance is constantly benchmarked against challenging targets, best practices are replicated across globe and the overall the performance bar is constantly raised.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the process innovation and automation projects and chair the review meetings for these projects

· Work with multiple organizations and stakeholders to improve workflows

· Innovate to improve customer experience and continuously improve organizational efficiency

· Scope, define requirements, design, and develop the application to deliver an exceptional customer experience

· Communicate regularly to stakeholders on status, risks, and changes

Basic Qualification :

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field, with a minimum of 4+ years of industry experience.

· Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles & Operational Excellence

· Have an eye for detail and flair for waste reduction

· Suggest & develop tools to reduce efforts and improve operational efficiencies using lean tools and software development skills

· Programming experience with one or more modern language such as Java, Python, flask/Django, HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc.

· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.

· 4+ years of coding and extensive scripting experience

· Familiarity with web services, distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and network protocols

· Good working knowledge in SQL & Query performance tuning skills

· Goal driven, target orientated, able to step back and look at the bigger picture and long-term vision for optimizing the business for Amazon Customers

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

· Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Basic Qualifications

· Experience building complete software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

· Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
