Our Team:

External Manufacturing team ensures the supply of quality products through external CMOS. This team also manages import and export management. This position would be Responsible for Plant Supply chain operations for External Manufacturing Sites of Domestic, Export flow & Regional CMO sites in adherence to Supply chain standards as per SANOFI and adherence to internal control tool kit.

Job Description -

Main responsibilities:

  • Supply chain Management & Governance Model

  • Inventory control and SLA management as per Global policy and as agreed between Plant & export markets

  • To ensure on planning of Production Schedule required to meet three months fixed plan and three months rolling plan & make the product available within stipulated time period to marketing based on the forecast received from Market supply chain for Domestic Market and for Export market plan as per the demand and S&OP discussions with market

  • To review Production Schedule & Manage demand for all products of Domestic, Export flow & Regional CMO sites

  • Monitor CMO KPI compliance with respect to Delivery performance, OTIF, OOS, Min-Max stocks coverage

  • Responsible for verifying the Material master, LMID/GMID, MFR/UMF Creation related activities for Domestic & Regional activities

  • Review SOP Creation/ revisions for Plant Supply chain activities

  • To bring about Good governance & Systematic approach in Supply chain activities and improve on the team efficiency at all levels

  • Process Standardization, Budget Planning, & Control

  • To ensure & review on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) based on MPS generated for all products

  • Ensure on all Rejection/Write off related activities and entries in system on time. Also plant to plant and site to site - stock transfer accounting in SAP by the respective team member

  • Monitoring of alerts in market for low stocks and out of stock (OOS) situation and determine action plan in advance to avoid OOS

  • Providing weekly update to site head on status and update on any delays in supply with action plan

  • To check regularly on GST compliance/ liabilities for LL sites & take appropriate decision to minimize tax liability

  • New Launches & Project Management

  • Provide support for introduction of new products from the Ext Mfg Sites in terms of material arrangement & timely deliveries of launch quantities

  • Ensure to have CMO Handbook for each CMO at local & Regional level and update from time to time

  • Ensure on timely completion of associate Projects & activities on COGM

  • Arrange Kinaxis and internal tools training to the team & Train on the process flows

  • Audit & Compliance

  • Ensure on MSA in place for all CMO locations and Storage locations & renewed on time

  • Ensure on Physical stock audit & Fixed asset verification at CMO locations in co -ordination with Audit team & compliance of the same with action plan

  • To work with Internal tool kit committee to ensure on the compliance from time to time, and review as per guidelines

  • Ensure on there are no SOD issues, affecting the business

  • Coordination & Internal Alignment

  • Active participation for Monthly S&OP meeting /TC with CMOs & affiliate to update on supply update

  • Coordination with global serialization team to review change in Sanofi global requirement, to update on the status of track and track at CMO

  • Co-ordinate with Quality counterpart for Quality matters & ensure on smooth supplies from CMO’s escalate matter pertaining to cross functional topics affecting supplies

  • Other Responsibility

  • Ensuring on the Price revisions (MRP) and artwork changes implementation in time across all CMO’s

  • Ensure on Timely Release of PO’s for the CMO’s and RM/PM suppliers and also ensure on the finished goods releases & dispatches at all LL and P2P Mfg sites

  • Plan CMO site visits as per the business requirements & prepare the visit reports immediately & share with HOD and CMO

About you

  • Qualification

o Graduate/ postgraduate in Pharmacy with Management education

  • Experience :

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry/ Consumer industry in Pharma Operations

  • Technical skills:

  • Handson Pharma plant experience or External manufacturing operations

  • Adequate knowledge on SAP and SC internal systems, Advanced Excel, MS Project

  • Supply Chain expert on SAP tools

  • Languages: English
