Oracle AWS Cloud Architect in MUMBAI, India

Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable solutions on AWS, considering performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, VPC, and more.

  • Design, plan, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure AWS infrastructure.

  • Configure, manage, and monitor AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using AWS CloudFormation or other infrastructure-as-code tools.

  • Lead the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to AWS, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

  • Create and document best practices, standards, and guidelines for AWS architecture and deployment.

  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance on AWS-related matters.

  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Stay updated with the latest AWS features, services, and best practices, and provide recommendations for their adoption.

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient and reliable cloud operations.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
