The Senior Manager, Service/Product Offer Management develops, owns and drives product and service strategies. By using their market focus and expertise, this position ensures that the organisation’s product and service offerings remain relevant, sustainable, compelling and competitive within the markets they are designed to serve. They may be required to own and drive the product management strategy in their assigned business unit/division. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for new product and services development or for the enhancements to existing products and services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, own and drive product strategies and cascade the organisation’s overall product strategies into the business divisions and to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Analyse current market trends, conduct market research and specify market requirements for current and future products.

  • Source or develop concepts for new products to investigate and identify enhancement concepts for existing products.

  • Determine the feasibility of the concept for development and define and develop the product specifications.

  • Take responsibility for the definition, monitoring and management of the lifecycle roadmap for each product in the portfolio.

  • Vet the suitability of vendors and partners, alliances and suppliers.

  • Develop and deliver product training and communication to client facing staff and relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Establish, develop and maintain product-pricing models and contribute to the identification of suitable promotional techniques and sales and distribution channels.

  • Work with marketing colleagues to colleagues to perform client, competitor and market analysis.

  • Gather and prioritise product and client requirements to identify opportunities and to define the product vision.

  • Identify the opportunities for new product development or for the enhancements to existing products.

  • Responsible for continuing product evolution, product enhancements, the introduction of new product features and functions and the retirement of certain products or variations to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.

  • Educate the relevant internal stakeholders on new or enhanced product offering to enable sales optimisation and client satisfaction.

  • Possess a broad understanding of product management

  • Possess an understanding of the NTT Ltd.'s transformation and change programmes

  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the technologies related to product areas

  • Display an in-depth understanding of the product’s functionality and capability

  • Display good work efficiency with effective time and work management, dynamic prioritising and adaptability and flexibility

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills and are able to interact across all levels in the business

  • Individuals should be self-starters, proactive and are able to use their initiative

  • Demonstrate evidence of clear analytical thinking

  • Display an astute mind-set with critical thinking skills, systems thinking and good problem solving

  • Demonstrate the ability to make strategic and independent decisions that are characterized by logic and good reasoning

  • Display the ability to research and produce industry knowledge that is published and presented internally and externally

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop, grow and utilise domain level expertise including industry, markets and technology factors

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Business Management or equivalent Qualification

  • Scaled Agile

Required Experience:

  • Extended experience in a similar position

  • Extended experience in the technology industry

  • Extended track record managing the implementation new products or product lines
