Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Multiple Locations, United States

The Partner Programs Team within the Customer Experience Engineering Team [CxE] engages deeply with strategic Microsoft partners enabling them to effectively drive deployment, adoption, and usage for customers across our solutions. We are looking for a customer-focused Senior Product Manager with deep technical knowledge to work directly with global partners in the Entra External Identities space. Responsibilities

• Ecosystem Enablement & Consumption:

  • Partners are at the centre of enabling us to scale deployment, adoption, and usage of our security products and in defining our customer’s experience with these services.

  • Use your deep technical subject matter expertise to ready and enable this deployment ecosystem, driving investments to build better products.

  • Collaborate with key partners to identify their technical and business requirements, driving the continuous improvement of capabilities at our partners with education on engineering investments and latest technical information partners need in support of our customers.

• Product & Service Insights:

  • Working with Microsoft Security Engineering teams, use your deep technical knowledge and partner expertise to help guide the future direction of our products and services.

  • Directly influence product roadmap with voice of partner to build better products.

  • Ensuring our partner needs are understood and evangelized throughout the engineering organization as part of the development lifecycle is critical to our long-term business growth.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with security technologies working to deliver and/or support customers/partners through modern transformation programs.

  • 5+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles.

  • Demonstrated deep technical ability and product knowledge in external identities / B2C identities.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

  • Ability to forge trusted relationships with Microsoft Partners [Business Decision Makers, Security Practice Leads, Architects and IT Leaders]; to represent Engineering and drive understanding of our solutions/services.

  • Passion for enabling great partner experiences and an outstanding customer satisfaction track record.

  • Direct experience working with Microsoft Partners is highly desired.

  • Technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly understand service capabilities, technical issues, and partner needs.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization, across all functions from business to technical, and across multiple geographies.

  • Solid experience in identifying technical gaps and advocating on behalf of the customer and partner to make products stronger and a proven track record driving the prioritization of a backlog based on actual customer evidence.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
